SSRs are D.O.T. approved off-road, purpose built tires that also provide a surprisingly smooth on-road ride and low road noise. For owners who do not want to modify (lift) their vehicles but want the performance only a Super Swamper TSL can provide, the SSR Series of Super Swamper Radial TSLs is one of Interco Tire’s most popular models. Note that Super Swamper SSRs unique design requires strict attention to air pressure when run on the highway, and actual tread patterns may (slightly) vary based on tire size. The Super Swamper Radial TSL/SSR, better known as the SSR, is the second generation of the Super Swamper Radial/TSL and incorporates a slightly tighter version of the distinctive Super Swamper TSL chevron tread pattern, siping for wet pavement traction and icy conditions, greater sidewall protection with and a unique side-wall design for added traction and is quieter running. TSL (three-stage lug) is a massive short, intermediate and long lug pattern with each lug uniquely arranged, proportioned and spaced to allow them to bite quickly and self-clean rapidly.
